PRIMAL LEADERSHIP

by Kunal Mehta

The book ‘Primal Leadership’ by Daniel Goleman was released back in 2001 and is still regarded an important one for leadership.

Primal leadership refers to the emotional dimension of leadership. Therefore, the focus of this book is to help understand the importance and power of emotional intelligence within leadership – starting with how we lead ourselves.

In a climate of uncertainty, primal #leadership becomes more important than ever, because people need a leader who lends an air of certainty and conviction, as that reassures the people around him/her.

This kind of leadership helps to bring teams and individuals towards a shared #purpose and vision through the understanding of their emotions.

All the frameworks and concepts explained in the book have been beautifully put together in a single image by Dani Savekar.
